In every one of our lives, there is an inseparable chapter where at least one-third of an average lifespan is largely spent with relations (but not blood) and they do form central characters in real life – drama, named as “friends”. One does have many other relationships, yet friendship takes a significant place and peculiar respect, giving boundary less rights of freedom, demand, command, share … etc.

Another indivisible element from one’s life, crucially at the transformation age from teenager to matured adult and of course in the companionship of friends is “dreams”.

In short, one’s life is a fusion of friends and dreams, apart from the blood relations.

There are many movies on Indian Screen based on these two elements as the key points of story. Zoya Akthar who made an impressive début with LUCK BY CHANCE touches these elements in a more polished – matured way blending with equivalent dramatic sense and balanced emotional quotient with an undercurrent authentic entertainment in the form of ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA.

What makes ZNMD stays with us are profound story, soulful theme, screenplay (a pleasant mix of offbeat feel with mainstream elements), touching story telling, stunning locations, eye catching-breathtaking visuals, meaningful audio with subtle tunes, commendable dialogues, last but not least the charming performances by all and  heartwarming messages. ZNMD is best backed by the best of it’s kind Technical crew and Production values.

ZNMD is a road movie, narrating the story of three best buddies forever, their adventurous bachelor trip before one among them is entering the next phase of life, their perception towards love-life-money, their childish-matured fights, their silly-enjoyable pranks, their search for inner peace, true love, their emotional journey and  their realizations in a thrilling mode.

Everyone from the talented cast renders impressive and adequate performances. Hrithik, best thing like about him is, accepting a multi cast film, showing no starry airs on-screen tending to match with his image (stardom).Abhay, simply re-confirms the kind of works he joins his hands with. Farhan, a multitalented, improving with his spontaneity. Katrina, leaves her mark in a natural way. Kalki, does noise at times, throws that comment on her characterization, doing her job as required. Naseeruddin Shah, makes his presence felt.

On the flip side, the hiccups associated with ZNMD are screenplay (in parts) and editing, which goes lengthy way giving a feel of boredom in between the joyful-adventurous ride.  The pace is not my personal compliant, as such, I would say this kind of one’s dairy unfold tales; hit the hearts at slow pace leaving a forever impression of memories.

Bottom Line: An honest film attempted in an intelligent and matured way of storytelling, with an undercurrent message “Follow your own heart & live life king size seizing every moment of it”.

Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap Review

Amithab Bachan :

He is the baap of all heroes. True meaning for a hero from decades. Basically this film is made to introduce what Big B is all about. This Guy(yes i said guy) still had the same punch n power. His screen presence is damn good as usual, and its his show all the way.

Rest all cast did got fair portions. Charmee is as cute as teddy,sonu sood i good,Subba raju is hillarious,Praksha raj pumped it up greatly in the climax. Hema malini is gorgeous,raveena tondon is neat.Sonam chauhan is cute.

 By Vishal0Sekhar is good,numbers are peppy.Background score by our very own Anup Rubens is great,sure this guy gonna make
it in bollywood too.

Story-Screenplay-Direction :  

Puri did followed the same mantra in bollywood which he is chanting here in tollywood, for over a decade now. Its big B who is the right choice for his characterization than anyone. Puri had the same character building,right from dialogs to scenes to camera angles you will recall his past movies in telugu.So we dont feel anything fresh,its a beaten to death track again,but in hindi it would be fresh, and he introduced his style of making with none other than big B. So for sure he can count his coins in bollywood.If he worked on something, its climax episode.Good work done.

Final Analysis::

Overall ga watch it, you wont regret. 

Big B mark entertainer with puri touch. 

2 hours of entertaining journey.
